Further, this year in the 2nd semester examination, 1,60,405 students registered for the examination. 1,60,159 students have appeared for the examination. 1,02,408 students have cleared the examination. Thus, the overall passing percentage is 64%.

UP DElEd exam is 2 year diploma course which is divided into 4 semesters. The exam is conducted in both formative and written form. The UP DElEd Exam is conducted in the offline mode and pen paper mode. This UP DElEd Exam includes subjects such as hindi, mathematics, science, social studies, educational management.
To qualify this exam, candidate must secure at least 50% score in each subject and 50% as aggregate score.
The exam duration is of 150 minutes i.e 2 hr 30 min.The examination includes multiple choice questions and there are 150 questions.
The admission in this course are based on the merit and entrance exam.
Further, students need to qualify the CTET exam which is conducted by CBSE after completing DElEd course.
